2000-P SAC$1 Goodacre Presentation (Special Strike)

The 2000-P Sacagawea SP67 Presentation Piece was a special dollar coin created for Glenna Goodacre, the Sacagawea dollar's designer, as part of her payment commission. Minted in Philadelphia (P) and graded as SP67 (Specimen 67) by PCGS, it was personally delivered to her in Santa Fe, New Mexico, by Mint Director Philip Diehl on April 5, 2000. These pieces are rare because they were not part of the general mintage, and this piece distinguished by Philip Diehl's signature on the PCGS holder.
