Designer Cassie McFarland Signed and Offered at Long Beach Expo

This was the first coin from the U.S. Mint to have this innovative domed shape. The obverse is shaped like a baseball glove, while the reverse is shaped like a baseball.

As the winning designer of the coin's glove motif, Cassie McFarland signed special labels that were included with some of the coins in their graded protective slabs.

The year being 2014 commemorates the 75th anniversary of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
