Don Drysdale was a legendary Hall of Fame right-handed starting pitcher and broadcaster who played his entire 14-year Major League Baseball (MLB) career with the Brooklyn / Los Angeles Dodgers from 1956 to 1969. Nicknamed "Big D" for his imposing 6-foot-5 frame, he partnered with left-hander Sandy Koufax to form one of the most dominant starting pitching duos in baseball history.
