Half Cents

Half cent coins were a type of coin minted by the United States from 1793 to 1857. The early series designed by Robert Scot featured Lady Liberty on the front and a wreath on the back. The half cent was the smallest denomination coin minted by the United States, and it was initially introduced to help alleviate the shortage of small denomination coins during the early days of the country.
